Credit Management Specialist
This position is part of Order to Cash (O2C) team of the country and provides operational support of Bayers Credit Management. He/she is familiar with Credit Management of customers, Collection and Account Receivables. He/she reports to the Order to Cash & Distribution Manager/Country Supply Chain for Indonesia. In doing his/her task, he/she must be balance in giving effective and excellent service and maintaining compliance to regulation, best practices, as well as corporate policies and directives.
Acting as Bayer representative in communicating and managing A/R and A/P to all Crop Science Division customers (more than 80 customers)
Responsible in managing A/R collection to all Crop Science Division customers
Dealing directly to sales-field force in payment collection
Dealing directly to customers to collect payment, as well as to negotiate payment schedule
Identifying and minimizing possible financial risk in dealing with customers
Optimizing credit insurance and risk mitigation initiatives
Close interaction to Country Division Head and Chief Finance Officer in daily task of credit management
Rebate calculation and settlement
Payment and A/R reconciliation to all customers
Managing customers debit memo / credit memo
Preferably a university degree or equivalent, especially with main focus on
Administration or Finance.
Several years of financial and/or accounting experience on supply chain processes and
Ability to manage A/R
Knowledge of ERP system (SAP) and computer literate
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Quick in action and strong customer focus
Sufficient English skills both in oral and spoken form
Good communication skill, and equipped with negotiation and influencing skills
Strong planning abilities and good in numbers
